Feb 2020 - Project started
The CEO, Stephen Gray, stops his research and talks on anti-social technologies and instead starts to create his own product to maximise positive social impact.
We have used social insight and purpose to create a product that provides a fundamentally and significantly better social outcome than existing social tech.
We abide by a self-created code of ethics that governs our product design thinking before even considering what the product and its features might be.
The result is a social tech product that acts as a catalyst for our social needs whilst working alongside our natural human behaviours.

Apply for early access to the app and become a founding member.
Founding members will be given exclusive access to new releases before regular members and have the option of contributing to the app's future development.
Resbite is an app that helps you socialise in the real world by arranging real-social activities. It's a new type of social network focused on the value of authentic human-to-human relationships. Something we all need if we want to stay healthy and happy, particularly post-pandemic.
Resbite strengthens established relationships, re-connects you with estranged relationships and expands your real-social network with the safe introduction of friends-of-friends. All whilst suggesting and helping to arrange something fun to do together.
The CEO, Stephen Gray, stops his research and talks on anti-social technologies and instead starts to create his own product to maximise positive social impact.
The Resbite team and its partners carry out market research, set the business strategy and purpose, document a code of ethics, and conceive the basic app idea.
The team commissions creative agency Creamos to create the Resbite brand. They respond with a brand guide, visual identity, narratives, animation, the base website, and investor assets.
Resbite recruits an app design team and gets to work on the information architecture, logic, flows, user interface and in-app brand experience for the MVP (v0).
The design team completes the visual design of the app screens, creates a component brand guide and makes a working prototype. The app experience is captured as video to use as an investment asset.
Resbite recruits a development team, and they build the frontend screens in Flutter.
The MVP release contains essential features needed for people to connect, find and learn more about an activity, arrange a meet, check wellness, chat with resbite attendees and add a child account.
The second release of the app is made public. It contains extra freemium and premium features, including flexible invitations, photo collections, weather checking and guru stories.
The third release of the app is made public that includes hosted resbites. Activity providers can create premium events through a web portal and push them to a relevant audience.
Choose from more than 100 social activities with detailed descriptions of each one.
Set the start and finish times for your activity and then choose a meeting-point address or event location.
Choose the number of people you’d like to attend and then invite a shortlist of your connections.
See how you and your children spend time on resbites across several wellness benefit categories.
Find out how others felt after completing resbites. See how your time spent doing resbites compares with the average from everyone, your connections and your household.
Empower yourself with the knowledge of how much time you spend on antisocial-tech vs real-social tech so you can take action to create a healthy balance.
Find out which connections you spend the most physical time with and which require some more human-to-human attention.
